Board and Train Program

This is a great program for the busy family that doesn’t have the time to devote to consistent training. Dog owners sometimes slip into being a bit inconsistent with their training. This is not the most conducive way for your dog to learn. We can help him by being consistent and clear in multiple training sessions during the day. You might have the concern that your dog won’t listen to you if he is trained by a different trainer. Take time to consider the relationship of a Guide Dog and his blind partner. That dog has had multiple hours learning from a different person, yet, the dog guides his partner around dangerous obstacles and through busy streets. The transfer of a trained dog takes some education, but with willing participants, it is not a difficult process. We provide an owner education session at the end of your dog’s training period when you will receive one-on-one instruction along with written material that will support the verbal communication.
